| On Sunday February 18, 2008. Four of us took a short drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It never fails to take my breath away. We explored Desert View, and stopped at various viewpoints. the highlight of the trip, for me, was the tour of the photographers Emory and Ellsworth Kolb's house. We happened to hit the tour just as it was beginning. The NPS has incredibly knowledgeable living history interpreters that act as if they are still living in the era.
